Susan has a general civil practice including commercial, property, administrative, and torts law. Her areas of special interest are workplace psychiatric injuries, abuse cases, and medical negligence.
Experience/Recent cases
In recent years she has conducted cases against the governments, religious and other organisations and individuals on behalf of those who have suffered childhood abuse. She has been briefed in matters involving hospitals and individual doctors in a variety of medical negligence claims. These cases have resolved without the need for a trial.
Susan has acted for the prosecution and defence in a variety of ‘white collar’ crime matters. She is particularly skilled at negotiating reasonable outcomes in these types of matters.
