Called to the bar in 2009
After completing a law degree with honours, Joe proceeded directly to becoming a Barrister at the Private Bar of Queensland where he has practiced for over 10 years.
Joe regularly appears in a range of State and Federal Courts and Tribunals for both Plaintiffs and Defendants in a broad range of matters. He has a strong Civil and Commercial practice which spans areas of consumer law, professional negligence, insolvency, insurance, property matters and personal injury.
Alternative Dispute Resolution has become a cornerstone of modern civil and commercial litigation and Joe frequently appears as both an advocate and mediator in settlement conferences, mediations and conciliations.
In addition to his private practice, Joe is a strong believer in assisting others and having completed a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance has, since 2016 served as an unpaid director of a not for profit aged care providing. insight and guidance in respect of legal and compliance issues.
